I offer writing and editing consultations in many fields from education to advertising. The challenges of 2020 found students and parents searching for ways to fill in the gaps of intermittent learning, so it was then that I decided to put my creative passion for writing to practice.
- I graduated with a BA in Education N-8 from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ
- Acquired 25+ years of experience in writing and language arts as a secondary education teacher.
- Consulted with professionals to write copy for business websites and You Tube videos.
I will help you develop your ideas into meaningful text, and apply techniques to create a college essay, website or video that is a true representation of you and STANDS OUT.

My Services
How it works
We will begin by first completing a needs assessment to determine where you are in the writing process. Using those results, during our sessions I will
- break you out of the "staring-at-the-screen" cycle and help you choose the best Common App prompt
- brainstorm topics for your essay from your personal experiences
- provide feedback and engaging comments that strengthen your writing while staying true to your "voice"
- offer revising and editing at all stages, from your initial rough draft, to a solid second draft, to a finished polished essay
Additional writing/editing services also extend to: scholarship essays/applications, admissions application essay, general writing assignments.
Written feedback is given digitally through Google Docs. Follow up discussion may also take place by phone, live, or virtually.

We will begin by discussing your vision for your project and answering the question "What is my message?" We will then collaborate to determine
- your "voice" or image
- the scope of your project
- requirements associated with your task
- a completion goal
- any additional preferences
Written feedback is given digitally through Google Docs, when applicable. Live or virtual collaboration throughout the process is an option when preferred or necessary.
Appointments are scheduled per hour — with the initial consultation being free of charge.
The typical college essay takes approximately two to four hours of meetings and revisions with a client, depending on the results of our needs assessment.
Initial consultations would take place in person, but may also be held by phone or virtually via Google Meet.
